Direct feedback on material selection during instant quoting process
For CNC machining, there is an almost infinite selection of materials available to produce components. For CNC manufacturers, these differ primarily in terms of machinability and short-term availability. For designers, on the other hand, the properties of the material in use are more often the primary consideration. This can concern strength, media resistance, but also joinability. The selection of a material that meets the requirements, but is also available and ready for production, has therefore been a complex matter up to now.
As of today, material selection has become easier. With our new selection tool, we now offer insights into the selected materials when ordering. In the selection menu, advantages and disadvantages as well as general information can be called up. This makes the selection of materials faster and more reliable. Filtering by category also significantly speeds up material selection.
In order to find the most suitable material from a large number of available materials and alloys, we at InstaWerk have already made an important pre-selection: Common materials that are easily available and easy to machine can be found in our instant quoting process and ordered directly.
